So life has taken a lovely but unexpected turn: I have a job at a bank as a New Accounts Representative. Now while this probably isn't new news to a lot of you, it may still be to some. Also sorry for the long delay I haven't had internet in quite some time.
My new job (which honestly was not ever one that I thought I would end up in) is fantastic! I greatly enjoy it thus far. Granted there is so much to learn and I mean still SO SO SO much. The computer system is interesting.... It reminds me of DOS in so far as I knew DOS to begin with anyway. Anyhow it's interesting to use hot keys and all that type of thing.
One strange side note, that apparently isn't that strange to others is that my branch doesn't have a single male in it... Yes that is right, estrogen fills every crevasse. As a lady who normally doesn't really do that great with ladies as friends, or much else I won't lie it's a little unnerving to be in a female only office. Granted I will also say that these ladies are some of the sweetest I have met and had the pleasure to be around. Truly I'm surprised at how nice and genuine they are. There is open communication which I highly enjoy and frankly need.
Here is another thing I did not expect out of of my job; I get to dress up. Now I know you are all thinking well yeah you work in a bank, but lets go a little further. I want you to imagine going into your bank, now imagine the people who work there. Now imagine the ladies... do they dress nice? Or have they given up? You know what I mean... Anyhow I get to dress up and look nice every day and in fact I have to. I'm not really going to dress that nicely for no reason. Basically it's a nice excuse to wear nice clothes and the rather miniscule amount of jewelry that I have. This, as simple as it may seem, is a strange concept for me.
